Mission Statement

To promote the spirit of fellowship among its members and in the community through the activities of the club in friendly rivalry in any social and cultural activities that may encourage gentleness among the members and associates.

The T&T Social Club is currently having a membership drive and invites any interested individuals to visit during one of our meetings, the last Sunday of every month. We welcome all demographics and cultures to join or participate in our organization’s activities.


The Social Club sponsors the “Regan Youth League” in Jamaica Plain annually.


Four gentlemen decided to come together to create a social network in which will enrich the community with the culture of Trinidad and Tobago founded the social club. These founding fathers, Hollis Joseph, Pooran Ramjatten, Samsonat Deo, and Albert Phillip gathered a supporting cast to fulfill their mission. In 1988 this social group became incorporated ad established its non-profit status as the Trinidad and Tobago Social Club of Boston Inc. (TTSCB). The social club began impacting the community with many events and signature activities such as its annual Family Day and trips to surrounding Caribbean Carnivals. With the Carnival parades being one of the major components of the Trinidad and Tobago’s culture, the social club decided to participate in the Boston Carnival. TTSCB plunged into the Carnival arena with a t-shirt band and soon after transitioned into a competitive band with elaborate costumes. Led by the band leader, Errol Phillip and his supporters the social club went on to claim top honors of Band of the Year in ten consecutive years, 1997-2006. During the carnival journeys, TTSCB was also awarded numerous honors such as Band of the Year for Kiddies Carnival, King and Queen of Carnival, Jr. King and Queen of Carnival and many more. With a plethora of victories, TTSCB became well known as one of the top bands in Boston Carnival, who made history of being the only band to win ten straight titles of Band of the Year.
